Zowie Bowie has fast become one of the most well-known acts in Las Vegas, bringing a unique blend of today’s hottest dance, hip-hop, Top 40 and classic Las Vegas music to audiences every week as headliners at Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Zowie Bowie features the musical talent and unbridled energy of Chris Phillips, Marley Taylor and a high voltage band that creates a sizzling and sexy sound that has become a Las Vegas mainstay. Zowie Bowie perform their Top 40 dance show at The Pub in the Monte Carlo on Friday and Saturday nights at 11:00 p.m., and their Vintage Vegas show in the hotel’s famous Lance Burton Theatre Sunday nights at 7:30 p.m.

The glamorous duo’s Vintage Vegas Show brings back the heyday of classic Las Vegas when the Rat Pack, Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, Keely Smith & Louis Prima and Bobby Darin ruled the strip. Accompanied by a 18-piece orchestra, Zowie Bowie will give audiences a classic Las Vegas evening filled with all the music and mayhem that put Las Vegas on the map. As Phillips likes to say, “it’s all about cufflinks and cocktails.”
Admission to The Pub performance is free and the sounds of Zowie Bowie kick off at 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets to the Zowie Bowie Vintage Vegas Show, every Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the Lance Burton Theatre, are priced at $29.95 and are available at the Monte Carlo box, either in-person or by calling 702-730-7160.
Phillips and Taylor came to Las Vegas in 2006 from Scottsdale, Arizona, where they had been performing together for four years. The two caught the attention of Station Casinos, whose management immediately signed the pair to be the headline act at the company’s new Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. Zowie Bowie performed at the grand opening of the resort alongside music superstar Sting and went on to become one of the hotel’s biggest attractions. After two years, the pair signed on to do an exclusive engagement at The Palms Casino Resort where they performed to standing-room only crowds.

Marley Taylor was raised in Houston, Texas, and has been performing on stage since the age of 12. A talented singer-songwriter, she performed at nightclubs and other venues throughout Houston before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she continued her solo career.
Chris Phillips was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona, eventually finding his way as a drummer in a heavy metal band in the early 1980s. Phillips’ passion for singing took him from behind the drums to center stage, eventually forming his own band called Zowie Bowie. As two energetic performers in the Scottsdale area, Phillips and Taylor eventually met and the two have not looked back ever since.
Zowie Bowie has received rave reviews since their power-packed show initially debuted in Las Vegas. The couple was ranked the “Number One Must-See Show” in Las Vegas by AOL, and voted the “Best of Las Vegas” by readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Las Vegas Magazine proclaimed “Zowie Bowie is to Sin City in 2009 what Frank Sinatra and Ann-Margret was to Vegas back in the ‘60s.” Phillips and Taylor have graced the cover of numerous magazines, with their drop-dead good looks, impeccable style and classic elegance.
Phillips and Taylor also play at entertainment and corporate events throughout the year, including The Miss USA Pageant and the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon. Phillips and Taylor are national spokespersons for Opportunity Village, a not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with vocational training, employment and social recreation services that make their lives more productive and interesting.
